The Life Process Program taught at St Gregory Retreat Center is a 8-week residential program in a comfortable, safe and positive christian environment. The St Gregory Retreat Center does not advocate belief in the disease of addiction as taught in drug rehab, alcohol addiction treatment or alcoholism treatment whether they are secular or chrisitan drug treatment centers. The Life Process Program teaches our guests to take personal responsibility for their choices rather than making excuses for choices that result in poor behavior which is the cornerstone to rebuilding their life. Drug and alcohol rehab centers teach that a disease by its very nature is out of the person's control. This is simply not the case with substance abuse. Actually, name a disease that if the abuser does not have money today to buy alcohol or drugs, they do not have symptoms! Substance abusers make the choice to abuse alcohol and drugs.
